Chelsea legend Gianluca Vialli revealed he has undergone 17 months of chemotherapy after being diagnosed with pancreatic cancer.
The former striker admitted in November 2018 that he had been embroiled in a health battle, and pleaded that he wanted to live as normal a life as possible.
And after his extensive chemotherapy sessions, Vialli reflected on his 'journey' to recovery but believes he has been 'fortunate' in comparison to those currently suffering from coronavirus.
After the shocking news broke concerning Vialli's diagnosis, Chelsea fans paid tribute for the ex-frontman with a touching banner - and the 55-year-old has been heartened by the results from his most recent tests.
