The FA will publish their long-awaited report into the child sexual abuse scandal on Wednesday — but there are already concerns that it has not gone far enough.
An independent review into whether there was a cover-up of what was a serious issue in English football between the 1970s and mid-2000s will be made public more than four years after it was commissioned.
However, it is understood many of the victims fear it will be something of a whitewash.
Sources have disclosed that the report has not found evidence of a paedophile ring within the game or a cover-up — despite clear links between those who carried out the abuse at multiple clubs.
