Swindon Town appoint ex-Chelsea and Derby assistant Jody Morris as their new boss on a two-and-a-half year contract - as Frank Lampard's old No 2 lands his first management gig

Jody Morris has been unveiled as the new manager of Swindon Town as he takes up his first permanent job in management.

Morris, who was assistant manager to Frank Lampard at both Chelsea and Derby County, has agreed a two-and-a-half year deal with the Robins.

The 44-year-old replaces Scott Lindsey who left the League Two club earlier this month to become Crawley Town manager.
