Antonio Conte has warned Tottenham that playing at Wembley could be a psychological disadvantage because it won’t feel like home.
Conte, who also spoke about the cold atmosphere at Juventus’ former ground, Stadio delle Alpi, because of the distance between the fans and the players, said that missing your familiar environment can take its toll.
Chelsea, who take on Spurs at Wembley on Sunday, are due to follow in the footsteps of their London neighbours when Stamford Bridge is redeveloped in two years time.
But Conte said: ‘For sure it’s not the same when you don’t play in your stadium.
