Shanghai SIPG 3-0 Sukhothai: Oscar scores on competitive debut as SIPG qualify for Asian Champions League

Former Chelsea midfielder Oscar scored and starred on debut for Shanghai SIPG as they waltzed into the Asian Champions League group stages by beating Sukhothai.

Andre Villas-Boas' first competitive game ended in a comfortable victory for SIPG, with their £52million January signing netting the opener before fellow Brazilian Elkeson and an own goal sealed their progress.

They now face South Koreans Seoul, Japan's Urawa Red Diamonds and Western Sydney Wanderers of Australia in the competition proper.
