West Ham boss Slaven Bilic criticised the "unacceptable" behaviour of some fans after crowd trouble marred the EFL Cup fourth-round win over Chelsea.
Plastic bottles and seats were thrown during West Ham's 2-1 victory at London Stadium and there were seven arrests as hundreds of supporters clashed and riot police entered the concourse.
Bilic said: "We are totally against it as a club, as a team."
West Ham said they will ban any fans involved for life.
Security was boosted for the London derby and an alcohol ban imposed as part of a "robust policing plan" following crowd trouble at the stadium this season.
