Chelsea have sanctioned Romelu Lukaku's sale after signing off on a exit fee for the Belgian striker, bringing a permanent end to his second torrid spell at the club, according to reports.
Lukaku is already on-loan at the Serie A side after the Blues signed off on a season-long deal for the wantaway star who wasn't included in Mauricio Pochettino's plans.
He has starred for Jose Mourinho's side in recent matches, scoring five league goals in six league games, with three strikes coming in his last two outings, and Roma have been keen to get a permanent deal sorted for the end of the season.
