Roma are reportedly prepared to sack Jose Mourinho if his side fail to defeat Cagliari this weekend.
After leading the Giallorossi to successive European finals during his first two seasons at the Stadio Olimpico, Mourinho has endured a much slower start to the current campaign, with his side currently sitting 13th in Serie A.
The club travel to the Sardegna Arena to face a Cagliari side managed by fellow former Chelsea boss Claudio Ranieri on Sunday, in a clash that could reportedly prove decisive in his tenure.
According to a report from Italian publication Corriere dello Sport, club president Dan Friedkin is ready to sack Mourinho if he is unable to lead Roma to victory against the newly-promoted club.
