Rio Ferdinand would be 'amazed' if Graham Potter chose not to raid his old club Brighton and sign Leandro Trossard in January.
Potter suffered his first defeat since joining Stamford Bridge on Saturday as Brighton thrashed the Blues 4-1 at The Amex, thanks to goals from Trossard and Pascal Gross and own goals from Ruben Loftus-Cheek and Trevoh Chalobah.
Ferdinand believes Chelsea, who have scored just twice in their last three Premier League outings, would benefit from extra creativity in attack.
As a result, the Manchester United legend has urged Potter to poach Trossard from his former side.
