Arsenal are reportedly keeping a close eye on developments with Chelsea forward Kai Havertz.
The German has been strongly linked with Real Madrid in recent weeks with the Spanish club needing to bolster their attack following the departure of star striker Karim Benzema.
Chelsea's asking price of £70m has so far proved a stumbling block and now the The Telegraph claim that the Gunners have taken an interest.
Havertz is said to have been considering his Chelsea future for a long-time.
The Blues endured a turbulent season following a vast overhaul of the squad, with Thomas Tuchel, Graham Potter and Frank Lampard having all sat in the dugout during the campaign.
