Real Madrid left back Marcelo faces missing their Champions League second leg against Chelsea because he's been summoned to work at a POLLING STATION for local elections the day before - and Covid restrictions mean he can't travel alone

Real Madrid face an anxious wait to see whether Marcelo will be available for the Champions League semi-final second leg against Chelsea next Wednesday.

As part of random selection, Marcelo has been summoned to work at a polling station in the Spanish capital for the Madrid Assembly elections, which are taking place next week.

Election day is May 4 and Real are set to fly to London ahead of the second leg at Stamford Bridge a day later.
