Real Madrid are reportedly close to securing the loan signing of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea following an injury to regular goalkeeper Thibaut Courtois.
It was confirmed that Belgian international Courtois suffered a cruciate knee ligament injury on Thursday, and Carlo Ancelotti's side have moved quickly to find a temporary replacement.
Kepa, who made 39 appearances for Chelsea last season after previously being second-choice 'keeper under Thomas Tuchel, has been allowed to leave on loan after the Blues completed the signing of Robert Sanchez from Brighton.
The Spaniard has also been linked with a move to Bayern Munich, but the injury to Courtois has seen Madrid move quickly to bring him in.
