Real Madrid could be boosted by return of Sergio Ramos for Chelsea clash as they aim to reach Champions League final as Zinedine Zidane plays down Raphael Varane injury scare

Zinedine Zidane is hopeful defensive pair Sergio Ramos and Raphael Varane will both be fit to face Chelsea on Wednesday.

Real Madrid have work to do in order to reach the Champions League final after last week's 1-1 draw in the home leg of their semi-final with the Blues.

But their manager suggested they have received a timely boost ahead of their trip to Stamford Bridge with the return of two key players.

Captain Ramos hasn't played since the end of March after suffering a calf injury, while Varane suffered a minor injury and went off at half-time during Saturday's 2-0 win over Osasuna.
