Raheem Sterling is left OUT of Gareth Southgate's England squad despite strong start to the season with Chelsea as Eddie Nketiah and Levi Colwill get first call-ups and Jordan Henderson and Harry Maguire keep their places

Raheem Sterling has been left out of the England squad to face Ukraine and Scotland despite a positive start to the season with Chelsea.

Gareth Southgate has included uncapped Chelsea defender Levi Colwill and midfielder Jordan Henderson despite his move from Liverpool to Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia.

Harry Maguire has also retained his place despite not featuring for Manchester United this season so far.

The Three Lions continues their European Championship qualifying campaign with a game against Ukraine in the Polish city of Wroclaw on Saturday September 9.
