Chelsea legend Petr Cech insists he is ready to be selected for the club after being named in Frank Lampard's 25-man Premier League squad, despite retiring from the game in 2019.
Cech, now the club's technical advisor, was a shock inclusion as an emergency goalkeeper last month, with the Blues suffering a crisis in between the sticks before signing Rennes shot stopper Eduoard Mendy.
Kepa Arrizabalaga, a £72million signing, has suffered an error-prone spell, while Willy Caballero has not injected confidence into the squad either, forcing Lampard to name the 38-year-old - although he insisted Cech's inclusion was 'not for the romance'.
