Chelsea icon Pat Nevin has shared a thoughtful response with his supporters three days after news broke that he was let go from his role as part of the Blues' media team without being given reason.
Nevin is thought to have received a message from higher-ups at the club, communicating that his services would no longer be needed, though he has heard nothing from Todd Boehly, chief executive Chirs Jurasek or Clearlake Capital.
The note is not believed to have included a reason why the former winger - who made 242 appearances in Chelsea blue - would not be continuing at Stamford Bridge.
