Palmeiras overcame Al Ahly in their Club World Cup semi-final encounter at the Al Nahyan Stadium in Abu Dhabi on Tuesday evening.
It was Palmeiras' 26-year-old midfielder Raphael Veiga who scored the opening goal of the game in the 39th minute, before Dudu added a second.
The result will see Palmeiras progress into the final - where they could face Premier League giants Chelsea.
However, Thomas Tuchel's side must overcome Al-Hilal at the Mohammed bin Zayed Stadium in their semi-final clash on Wednesday evening.
