Moises Caicedo was left out of Brighton's friendly with Rayo Vallecano yesterday as he looks to secure his move to Chelsea.
Caicedo cited a hamstring issue and quizzed if the midfielder was expected to report for training on Monday, manager Roberto De Zerbi said: 'I don’t know. If Moisés leaves, we will find another important player. If Moisés stays, I’ll be happy for us. It’s not my problem.'
Chelsea, who on Saturday completed the signing of Robert Sanchez from Brighton for £25m and on a seven year contract, also want to sign Leeds United's Tyler Adams for his release clause which could allow Liverpool a clearer run at Southampton midfielder Romeo Lavia.
