Real Madrid star Toni Kroos believes the reigning European champions could have pushed for more goals despite earning a 2-0 lead in the first leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Chelsea.
The holders secured a two goal cushion at the Santiago Bernabeu, with Karim Benzema and Marco Asensio on target.
Benzema scored a close range finish in the first half, before Chelsea were reduced to 10-men when Ben Chilwell was sent off for pulling back Rodrygo when the Brazilian looked to race through on goal.
Despite Asensio doubling the hosts advantage from a quickly taken corner, Kroos suggested Real Madrid could have added further goals with Chelsea having played the final 30 minutes with a man less.
