Mauricio Pochettino backs 'enormous talent' Mykhailo Mudryk to come good at Chelsea despite a difficult start to life at Stamford Bridge for the winger following his £88m transfer in January

Mauricio Pochettino remains confident Mykhailo Mudryk will realise his potential at Stamford Bridge following an underwhelming start to life at Chelsea.

The winger has not been alone in underperforming for the Blues over the last eight months, but his £88m price tag has consistently invited a higher level of scrutiny.

Mudryk has failed to find the net for his new employers and has tasted victory just three times since arriving in the Premier League.

Still, Pochettino, who is yet to start the 22-year-old this season, believes his hard work on the training field will eventually pay dividends.
