Marcos Alonso: The other third-generation internationals, including two former Manchester United strikers and ex-Rangers loanee

Marcos Alonso joined an elite group of footballers on Tuesday when he made his debut for Spain as a late substitute in their 6-1 defeat of Argentina.

The Chelsea wing-back became just the seventh third-generation international footballer in the history of the game; that is, Alonso is directly descended from two other players to have represented La Roja.
