Marco Silva has rejected a £40million offer from Saudi Arabia and will remain in charge of Fulham.
The Portuguese boss refused to confirm he would be staying at Craven Cottage when asked about his future here in Philadelphia on Saturday, a stance that caused unrest among supporters.
However, moves have since been made to let it be known he has turned down the approach from Al-Ahli.
They will now continue their search for a new manager and it remains to be seen if another Premier League boss is targeted.
The Saudi Pro League club have already signed Roberto Firming this summer and are about to add Riyad Mahrez and Allan Saint-Maximin.
