Raphael Varane is reportedly set to start France's World Cup game against Denmark despite being absent since late October.
The 29-year-old picked up an injury to his thigh in Manchester United's draw against Chelsea on October 22, and hasn't played a competitive fixture in over a month.
Didier Deschamps though has a decision to make on who starts at centre-back in their second group stage game following Tuesday's 4-1 victory over Australia.
And French publication L'Equipe believe Varane is likely to start against Denmark in the crucial Group D fixture, with Liverpool's Ibrahima Konate dropping to the bench.
