Ecuador, according to official tourism websites, is the country of four worlds: the Amazon jungle, Galapagos islands, Pacific coast and the Andes mountain range. It is also the birthplace of the man on the verge of smashing the British transfer record, Moises Caicedo.
Born in the tropical city of Santo Domingo, Caicedo saw barely any of what the rest of the country or indeed wider world had to offer for the first 14 years of his life. But it was there that the journey to becoming a £111million player began, via Belgium and Brighton.
Caicedo is the youngest of 10 siblings and so had to grow up quickly.
