LEVI COLWILL has been handed his first senior England call-up for the upcoming Euro 2024 qualifiers against Malta and North Macedonia.
The Chelsea centre back, 20, excelled on loan at Brighton last season and replaces Seagulls captain Lewis Dunk, who has a back injury, in the squad. Colwill is still set to be part of the England Under 21s squad for the Euros this month.
The FA confirmed on Monday that the 20-year-old has now been called up to train with the senior side at St George's Park.
Colwill’s promotion to senior training raises the possibility he could be involved in the England squad for their upcoming Euro 2024 qualifying matches.
