Leicester marched into the FA Cup fifth round with a powerful second-half display to despatch Brentford and set up a tie with Brighton next month.
Without the injured Jamie Vardy, the Foxes were trailing at the break to Mads Bech Sorensen’s seventh-minute opener. But Cengiz Under levelled within a minute of the restart before Youri Tielemans’ penalty put Leicester ahead five minutes later and James Maddison scored the third with 19 minutes remaining.
Captain for the day with Kasper Schmeichel rested, Tielemans delivered another inspirational display on a bitterly cold day in west London, and Maddison was not far behind.
