Lauren James has limited comments on her Instagram account to stem the backlash following her Women's World Cup sending off.
The Chelsea star stamped on the back of Nigeria's Michelle Alozie shortly before the end of normal time in the crunch last-16 clash and was dismissed after a VAR review.
It left Sarina Wiegman's Lionesses hanging on with just 10 players through extra time but ultimately James's moment of madness didn't cost England as they prevailed 4-2 on penalties.
It was quickly spotted that James, 21, had restricted who could post comments on her Instagram account, which has 568,000 followers.
