Kevin De Bruyne leaves hospital with a fractured nose and EYE SOCKET after clash with Antonio Rudiger which forced Man City midfielder off in tears in Champions League final

Manchester City midfielder Kevin De Bruyne has revealed that he has left hospital with an acute bone nose fracture and a left orbital eye injury following his clash of heads with Chelsea's Antonio Rudiger in the Champions League final.

De Bruyne was in tears as he had to be substituted in the 60th minute of the game in Porto.

The 29-year-old was unable to contribute in the closing stages as Chelsea prevailed with a 1-0 victory courtesy of Kai Havertz's goal just before half time.

He wrote on Twitter: 'Hi guys just got back from the hospital.
