Kevin De Bruyne gives Man City injury scare as he breaks down just TWENTY minutes into the new Premier League season during City’s victory over Burnley

Kevin De Bruyne has given Manchester City a new season injury scare, after limping off during their opening night clash with Burnley.

Having had a hand in City's opening goal, crossing the ball into the box that eventually saw Erling Haaland tuck away his first strike of the season, De Bruyne exited the match just after the 20 minute mark.

De Bruyne, captain for the night, pulled up with the problem and was quickly consoled by Haaland and Bernardo Silva before leaving the pitch.

The captain's armband was handed to Kyle Walker, while Matteo Kovacic replaced the Belgian to make his debut for Man City having signed from Chelsea over the summer.
