There have been glorious days for Kerry Dixon. 'I had them,' he nods and smiles. 'And I still remember them. Scoring my first goal for England, standing there and hearing the national anthem.
'Promotion with Chelsea, the goal at Grimsby to win the league, the equaliser at the Clock End at Highbury in the first game back in the top-flight.
'A lot of Chelsea fans have good memories of that one. It was the re-emergence of the club and that was a good side.'

For the first time in an hour, Dixon relaxes, mood thawed by the glow from happier times but life has been a struggle since football ended.
