Newly-promoted Turkish side Alanyaspor believe they have pipped champions Besiktas to the loan signing of Chelsea's Kenneth Omeruo after he underwent a medical at the club.
The Nigerian centre back, 22, signed a new contract with the Blues on Tuesday before heading to Istanbul to sort out his short-term future.
Besiktas wanted Omeruo as a solution to their defensive crisis but have found themselves pipped by the Alanya-based Turkish Super Lig new boys.

The defender had labelled his move to Turkey as a chance for him to prove himself away from Stamford Bridge.
