Chelsea's 3-1 victory over Swansea City on Saturday reaffirmed their status as favourites to win the Premier League. Star man was midfielder Cesc Fabregas, who marked his 300th appearance in the English top flight with a goal and an assist. In doing so, he made a strong case to manager Antonio Conte he deserves a regular place in the starting XI.
Conte regularly makes reference to the abundance of riches he has in midfield, but with N'Golo Kante having attained untouchable status, Fabregas has found himself marginalised. Conte has opted to pair Nemanja Matic with Kante to patrol the box-to-box areas of the pitch.
