Barnsley have appointed former Chelsea assistant coach Jose Morais as Barnsley boss on an 18-month deal.
The Portuguese is an old friend of Jose Mourinho and worked with the Manchester United boss at Inter Milan, Real Madrid and, of course, at Stamford Bridge.
He and Mourinho have remained particularly close even after they parted ways for Morais to pursue a career as a head coach in his own right.
Two years ago, when he was in charge of Turkish club Antalyaspor, Morais suffered a brain haemorrhage and spent over a week in hospital.
