The football Association are investigating John Terry’s farcical substitution against Sunderland on Sunday.
Disciplinary chiefs have asked betting companies for any information on bets received on the Chelsea captain’s controversial 26th minute substitution.
The investigation comes after bookmaker Paddy Power confirmed three punters had been paid a combined total of at least £3500 after accepting bets on the specific time Terry would be substituted at 100-1.
The Gambling Commission were contacted by Sportsmail yesterday, who insisted it was an issue for the FA.
