Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink takes an embarrassing tumble during race at his daughter's sports day in front of former Chelsea team-mate John Terry

Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink was not known for possessing searing pace but the former Chelsea front man has proved he's still got enough in the tank to take gold at his daughter's school sports day - courtesy of a despairing dive at the finish line.

The former Holland international, who scored 88 goals in 177 games during a four-year spell at Stamford Bridge, took on a number of other dads in a 100 metre race in front of his former Blues team-mate John Terry.

Hasselbaink started the race in fine form and was leading the pack at the half-way point but began to badly fade in the closing stages under pressure from another super competitive dad.
