'It's LAZY, formulaic and uninspired': Simon Jordan rips into Todd Boehly after Chelsea agree to re-appoint Frank Lampard as caretaker boss - insisting the Blues legend was 'patently unsuccessful' at the club before his sacking in 2021

Simon Jordan says Todd Boehly's decision to rehire Frank Lampard is 'lazy, formulaic and uninspired' as he claims the English manager has failed to prove himself at both Chelsea and Everton.

Lampard - who was pictured leaving his house on Thursday - has been asked to take charge of the Blues who sacked him two years ago on a caretaker basis until the end of the season, as reported by Sportsmail.

Jordan has criticised Boehly's decision to bring the former England international - who has been out of a job since he was sacked by Everton in January - back to Stamford Bridge.
