His continued run in the Chelsea side at left-back may have been enforced by another issue suffered by the injury-ravaged Ben Chilwell, but Levi Colwill has quickly made the role his own.
So much so that before Chilwell's latest hamstring problem, the 20-year-old fellow England international was still keeping him out of the side.
Indeed, manager Mauricio Pochettino said he was "so happy" with Colwill's form and that he is "showing character and providing the team with a very good balance" when asked about the selection dilemma.
So, after making his senior England debut at left-back and contributing to a clean sheet in Friday's 1-0 friendly win over Australia, is Colwill's immediate future in that position?
