Fikayo Tomori has revealed his dad convinced him to continue at Chelsea after an extremely daunting first experience at the club's Cobham training base.
Before the Premier League was stopped in its tracks due to the coronavirus crisis, Tomori had enjoyed a brilliant breakthrough season in the first-team under Frank Lampard.
However, things could have turned out very differently for the young England defender if it wasn't for the intervention of his father back in the day.
Tomori joined Chelsea at the age of seven where he would rise through the ranks before leaving the club's centre of excellence to begin training at Cobham.
