Former Chelsea technical director Michael Emenalo has dismissed claims that a fall out over transfers led to his exit – insisting he needed ‘a new challenge’.
Emenalo quit his influential role at Stamford Bridge in November after ten years with the Premier League champions, and was recently appointed technical director of French club Monaco.
