'I can't remember ONE time they linked up!' Chris Sutton rips into Chelsea's feeble attack against Real Madrid - and claims two Blues players never even passed the ball to each other during their dismal 2-0 defeat

Sportsmail columnist Chris Sutton singled out two Chelsea players during the Blues' 2-0 defeat by Real Madrid at the Bernabeu on Wednesday evening, lambasting them 'lightweight'.

The visitors failed to get on the scoresheet as a misfiring attack saw the Blues make only seven total shots at Thibaut Courtois' goal to Madrid's 18.

Mason Mount came closest with a close range strike shortly after he was brought onto the pitch, but was denied by a ferocious block from his former team-mate Antonio Rudiger.

With the result leaving Frank Lampard's side dangerously close to missing out on their last chance at silverware this season, Sutton had Chelsea's attacking forces in his sights during his coverage of the match for BBC Radio 5 Live.
