Leeds United’s promotion to the Premier League raised many questioned as to whether Patrick Bamford could be relied upon to lead the line for Marcelo Bielsa's side, after struggling to overcome the dark side of Chelsea's loan system.
However, Bamford has proved many of his doubters wrong this season – having scored 13 goals and registered five assists in his 27 league appearances so far this term.
Doubts over Bamford's ability to perform in the top-flight began when Chelsea snatched the 18-year-old starlet from Nottingham Forest in 2012 and refused to play him in the first team for the next five years.
