Great Britain were left heartbroken after being edged out 4-3 by Australia in an extra time epic in the Olympic women's football quarter-finals.
A rollercoaster contest in Kashima saw two Ellen White goals set Britain on course for the last four before Chelsea striker Sam Kerr levelled with mere seconds of normal time remaining.
In the extra half-hour, Caroline Weir saw a penalty saved before Australia broke downfield to score through Mary Fowler's deflected shot a mere 82 seconds later.
Kerr then added a fourth and Team GB weren't able to muster an equaliser in the dying moments despite another White goal.
