Graham Potter rules out a Chelsea exit for Christian Pulisic this month, insisting there was no chance he'd leave even before he was sidelined for two months amid Man United and Newcastle interest

Under pressure Chelsea coach Graham Potter insists Christian Pulisic is not leaving the London team and he had no plans to sell the USA star before he got injured.

Pulisic will be out for two months with a knee injury in Chelsea's 1-0 defeat by Manchester City on January 5. After struggling for playing time at the start of the season, he made three straight starts after the World Cup before getting hurt.

Speaking on Friday, Potter said: 'No chance (of Pulisic leaving), no,. 'There was never any consideration of anything about that anyway but he's a couple of months.
