Frank Lampard will stay on as interim boss at Chelsea until the end of season - despite Mauricio Pochettino close to being appointed as the Blues' new permanent manager.
Co-controlling owners Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali are seeking a permanent successor to Graham Potter, who was sacked on April 2 after just 31 games.
Lampard, 44, was appointed on a contract until the end of the season but has lost all four games in charge.
These include Premier league defeats to Wolves and Brighton and both legs of the Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid.
