Chelsea boss Frank Lampard has demanded a 'level playing field' for fans attending matches across the country with London on the brink of entering Tier 3 in the Government's coronavirus restrictions.
The Blues have been able to welcome a small section of supporters back to Stamford Bridge in the last couple of weeks thanks to London enjoying Tier 2 status, which means that 2,000 are permitted for outdoor events and 1,000 for indoor.
Other areas such as Manchester remain in Tier 3 - meaning no spectators are allowed in attendance, and there have been complaints from those areas that they have no been able to enjoy the same privilege.
