Kylian Mbappe was so enraged at Olivier Giroud for his comments about the pair's link-up on Tuesday night that he wanted to make an angry statement in a press conference on it, according to reports.
Les Bleus beat Bulgaria 3-0 at the Stade de France in their final friendly before this summer's European Championships, with Giroud coming off the bench to score twice and move to within five goals of Thierry Henry's all-time France record.
But the Chelsea striker came out after the game and claimed that Didier Deschamps' side could have linked up better up front and Giroud's looked visibly annoyed at Mbappe in the second-half.
