A former Chelsea starlet has revealed how he felt as though he had 'killed someone in a past life' due to having an extended run of bad luck with injuries.
The player concerned played with both Declan Rice and Mason Mount while part of the Blues' academy - during which time he won the UEFA Youth League and FA Youth Cup for Chelsea.
But after being hit with a succession of injury issues, Charlie Wakefield was flew to Barcelona to have bone marrow from both of his hips taken out before it was sent to grow in a laboratory in Italy.
