Cesc Fabregas has appointed himself as Como's interim manager after Moreno Longo was sacked on the weekend.
The former Torino and Frosinone manager was sacked by the Serie B side after their victory over Ascoli on Saturday afternoon.
The Como board members were frustrated with their position in the table - sixth - and decided to axe Longo regardless of the result.
Shortly after Longo's departure, the Italian club announced that Fabregas would be stepping in as their interim manager.
Fabregas - who had been coaching Como's U19 side after becoming a part-owner in the club with Thierry Henry - took control of the first XI effective immediately.
