Brighton goalkeeper Robert Sanchez has been called up to Luis Enrique's Spain squad less than two years after featuring in League One and Two.
Sanchez has replaced Chelsea outcast Kepa Arrizabalaga for his first national capp up and lines up alongside Manchester United stopper David de Gea and Athletic Bilbao's Unai Simon.
Sanchez has quickly become a mainstay in Graham Potter's Premier League side after plying his trade with Forest Green and Rochdale in the lower leagues up until last season.
The 23-year-old has kept six clean sheets in 17 appearances for the relegation-threatened Seagulls after replacing Mat Ryan, who joined Arsenal in January.
