Chelsea narrowly beat Everton 1-0 at Goodison Park to make a positive start to the new Premier League campaign.
The Blues went ahead deep into injury time at the end of the first half when Jorginho converted from the spot, after Ben Chilwell drew a foul from Abdoulaye Doucoure in the penalty area.
A horrible leg injury to Ben Godfrey in the first-half and a medical emergency within the crowd in the second produced a combined 18 minutes of injury time at the end of each period, but Chelsea ultimately remained strong and held on for all three points.
